At first, the singelroom does not appear big at all. You enter directly in the bathroom with the room further in. In this small space they have squeezed in everything you need. Bed, chair, rack for your bag, wardrobe and a safe. What else do you need when in London? I slept like a log. Breakfasts are proberly cooked by friendly staff at your order Close to connections at ie T’ham Court Rd. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

My elderly mother booked this hotel as a surprise gift for my birthday as myself and husband had wanted to visit London for a long time. She booked a 3 night stay at great expense to herself. We arrived full of anticipation ,looking forward to our stay after looking at the hotel on line. Firstly, great location, upon entering the building we quickly realized all was not what was advertised. The hallway floor was filthy, dust everywhere ,information stand scarce. The tight trip down the unvacumed stairs to reception was procarious, a weird smell greeted us but a friendly receptionist was in situ! We were warmly welcomed and told our room number. Our room, well the only good point was the clean bed although very uncomfortable! Thevroom, like the rest of the hotel was very dated, needed a thorough clean and in desperate need of decorating. The welcome tray was sparce, the window nets dirty, the space inbetween the double glazing filthy. The tiny TV was situated about a million foot high in the corner which we struggled to watch. The shower was also very high, great if you were a seven foot giant but not a five foot squirt like myself! Breakfast was ok but the dining room was dire, smelt musty and the outlook over the tiny court yard at the front was abismal . There was three plants in the window and you could write your name in the dust covering them! The stairs were no better. Not vacuumed throughout our stay, not for a long time actually! broken struts on the badly deteriorat ed bannister . All in all, someone has taken their eye of the ball, maybe Mr [--] should take a close look at his investment! The hotel certainly is not up to the standard advertised so our stay was very disappointing and tainted our visit to our great capital city.

We enjoyed our stay at the Morgan, it is on a prime location if you are visiting the British museum over a period of days, literally 5 minute walk. We booked a double room which was adequate. The bed and pillows were comfortable although I banged my head on the fixed and overhanging bedside cabinet a few times in the night. The external noise was quite loud, but this was to be expected in a city and we are from a more rural location. The toilet was small and cramped, hot water took about 5 mins to come through in the shower and the toilet seemed to flush and not fill up. Breakfast was lovely and freshly prepared. All in all the hotel is perfectly comfortable for a weekend, however I wouldn't want to stay for an extended period unless I was in a larger room.

After arriving at this hotel for our stay, it was immediately apparent that the hotel was nothing like their website photos!! I had booked a single room for my stay and was stuck in a small and tired room. Firstly, as i opened the door to my room, I had to walk through the bathroom to get in the the small cramped quarters of the bedroom!! Bathroom, No blind or curtain to the window and looked out on to other windows and a small yard/garden. hot water took 10 mins to come through the shower and did not even manage to get warm in the sink, which the taps barely covered so water was dribbled on the the surround rather than in to the sink!! Barely any cold water came through the tap either!! The WC was squashed between the wall and the shower cubicle. Bedroom: no tea or coffee facilities even though my parents room did. The bed sheet did not fit, was too small!! Heater was noisy, when it finally kicked in. Noisy, 6am you could hear what sounded like carts coming in to the hotel, banging and clattering. And to top it off, there were noisy roadworks outside the hotel which we had not been informed about. Good point?? Only one, the staff at breakfast were friendly and polite. If I were you, I would book somewhere else for your stay!!!

From reviews and the hotel website we thought that we had found a gem. On arrival the exterior and entrance hall were aesthetically unpleasant. The stairs down to the reception area were dark and unwelcoming. Our room was next to the front door and when I asked if there was an alternative I was met with a blunt "no". The room was clean enough and quite large. The electronic room safe did not work. The secondary double glazing did not do its job. The noise outside was constant. The external door almost shook the room every time it was closed. The breakfast was advertised and reviewed as excellent. Here we differ. The "Fresh Fruit" consisted of a single bowl of insipid looking apples. The cooked breakfast was adequate. our daughter had a single room. The was no courtesy tray and it looked like a converted cupboard. On opening the room door one walked straight into the bathroom! The beds were uncomfortable and sleep was practically non-existent. It appears to me from other reviews that we were not given a room that was described. Many visitors were from overseas and perhaps their rooms were of a good standard. Perhaps because our room was not booked direct with the hotel that we were discriminated against. Either way I cannot, hand on heart, recommend this place to anyone. Even for London it is over priced.

Very enjoyable stay in a one bedroom apartment in a building next to the Hotel itself Separate Lounge Bathroom and Kitchenette with 2 Tv’s in both the Lounge and bedroom. Full English breakfast served to you in the hotel building and all staff very friendly and helpful. Near underground tube station and British Museum Definitely stay there again when next we visit
